The numbers shown are a basin mean: averaged across a 2.5 km grid covering the upstream catchment of the attributed gauge. They are not point readings at the put-in. Local conditions at your put-in can differ: wind sheltering, valley shading, and micro-climate effects don't show up in a basin-area average.
